Project Overview
Problem space: Planning an outdoor activity.
Challenges: People have difficulty organising and preparing for outdoor activities effectively. There are so many places for outdoor activity, sometimes it’s hard to know which one to visit. They are not sure of the place’s conditions, distance, location, what to prepare, how many days to spend, kid-friendly, pet-friendly, or fees.
How might we help outdoor lover decided when and where to spend their precious day off when planning an outdoor activity.

At the discovery phase of this project, I conducted interviews to better understand the problem.

Result summary:

My audience is from 25 to 33 years old.

Most of them love nature and love camping and hiking.

Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube are the most commonly used tools to gain informations and communicate.

There are many factors that need to be considered when planning an outdoor activity,

including location, cost or budget, food, equipment, and time.

During outdoor activities, they face many challenges, such as unpredictable weather, lack of equipment, and safety issues.

To assist with planning and organizing the activity, they require a detailed plan and checklist of the necessary tools to bring.
